Shrimp Creole
(Quick and Easy)
2 tbl Butter 2 Cans Tomato Sauce
½ cup chopped onions ¼ can water
½ cup chopped bell pepper ¼ cup chopped celery
1 bay leaf 1 tsp parsley
1 tsp salt 1/8 tsp red pepper
2 cups cleaned shrimp
Melt butter in a heavy pot and cook onion and bell pepper on medium heat until soft. Stirring occasionally, add shrimp and cook till slightly pink. Add tomato sauce and water. Add salt, bay leaf, parsley and red pepper and cook on low for 30 minutes. Serve over hot white rice. Serves 8
